PERSONAL SUMMARY
An energetic, physically fit and confident Dance teacher/ Choreographer who has a successful track record of improving student’s knowledge and understanding of dance.
Born in Madhya Pradesh from
childhood was very passionate towards dance. At an early age started choreographing
for functions and various events. This passion lead to start own dance troop
named ‘Xanadu’ along with siblings under the guidance of Sugitha Menon a well known
event organizer. During the collage days started performing in various star
shows and got opportunity to choreograph several celebrities in the industry as
well as perform along with them across India, United States, Singapore, etc. Passion
towards Salsa dance format lead to join ‘Quicksteps’ and learned salsa under
the guidance’s of renowned salsa instructor Anand Majumdar in Mumbai. Once completing
the course started ‘Kapz Dance Studio’ in Cochin and was the first salsa
instructor in Kerala and instantly salsa
course was very successful and training
students from different fields like
Doctors, Army, I.T professionals etc along with Celebrities. In a short span of
time ‘Kapz Dance Studio’ was well recognised and had students from different parts
of the South India joined for courses
As part of Journey in life, shifted to Delhi where interest towards
Fashion and Interior Designing developed and started working on it. This gave
opportunity to do interior designing as well as costume designs for various
celebrities as many others. Once shifted back to Trivandrum started own
boutique ‘Kashida Collections’ which is running successfully now. Again the
hidden passion leads to join International School of Dance (Dance For you) in
Dubai and completed their International certified course. Once revitalized
opened ‘Kapz Dance Studio’ in Trivandrum and currently teaching various dance
formats like Salsa, Bolloyfunk , Ladies work out ,Kids dance program, Event
Choreography etc.
During the span of more than 2o years in dancing career have
taught in various private schools, colleges, education institutions etc. helped
in gaining intense experience of teaching all age groups, understand the needs
of students, and also has the ability to quickly engage with them.
